Mary Agnes Died age 86After her husbands death Mary Agnes travelled around somewhat. she stayed with some of her children on and off for various periods. When her son Charles joined the military, Mary Agnes went to Sydney to be near him and also with her daughter May whose son was a prisoner of war with the Germans.
After the war she lived back in Broken Hill for some of the time but then she and Charles lived in Adelaide with her brother Walter Best. She also spent time with son Vern in Sydney before finally returning to Broken Hill and living out her years with her son Walter and his wife Loveday.sources:
