Introduction

Welcome to my attempt at displaying my family history. I have created this site for two reasons. Firstly as a way of sharing what I have gathered with other family members and people researching any of the families linked here. Secondly in the hope that people will be able to add to my information so that as much as possible can be preserved.

I believe that the efforts of everyone involved in gathering this information should not go wasted, so I feel that it is necessary to share to keep the history alive. It may be a vain attempt to keep my name alive in history, however its also an attempt not to lose what there still is of the past.

Genealogy research is only a very recent interest of mine, and is partly due the the interest of my partner and other family members that I have continued this far and been as successful as I have been. My knowledge of my families history was very poor and I discovered that I was not alone. So now the task is on to record my ancestry and put all the pieces of the puzzle together.

As with all family research, it is an ongoing project, so I intend to add to this page whenever I have more information. If you have knowledge of any of the people listed here or people who should be listed, whether oral, photographic or historical I would love to hear from you.

For reasons of privacy, I have left off one or more of the last generations on some families where there are persons still living. Living persons that are listed here usually do not have details or notes displayed.

I am happy for people to take the information they see here, but if you re-publish, use it online or in a book, please ensure you attribute the source to my website.
